Ten-hut! You would have fit in nicely in Ancient Rome! You instill values of discipline, strength, honor, and self-sacrifice. If your children scrape a knee on the playground, you don’t fret. You might just tell them to “rub some dirt on it.” You set an example for your children and inspire them to strive for excellence! But if they ever get carried away, with vainglory or a thirst for victory, your voice alone can call them back to the path of temperance and virtue. When you speak, they listen.
